Hand’speaker : gloves connected translate sign language into speech

A revolution in the understanding of sign language… Six students from alliance ARTEM, which Salah Ghamizi invented Hand’speaker, digital gloves capable of transforming the actes of the wearer into speech. The device has several sensors that detect and locate the exact position of the fingers and joints. This information is immediately transmitted to a smartphone. A mobile application translates the sign language into text or speech. Hand’speaker system should promote the integration of deaf people in society, but also facilitate the learning of gestures in a playful way.
